Open Settings from a header’s settings button. Settings is not a fifth bottom tab. Read which settings belong to this phone and which change the selected computer; management permission does not authorize every possible change.
Connections and devices
Paired computers lets you select or rename a saved computer. The name is a phone label; it does not replace the paired certificate. Forgetting it does not revoke its device grant on the computer. See Pair your devices.
This computer, Devices with access, Chat, Previews and Readiness cover the selected connection. Change only the device grants needed. Account access must be granted at the computer even when the phone has management permission.
Accounts and agents
- Accounts manages service credentials supplied to tasks.
- Agent logins is a separate website-login feature with its own access rules.
- GitHub configures repository workflows where available.
- Launch flags sets this phone’s per-agent defaults for new Work. Existing tasks keep their saved policy.
- Agents and accounts shows native integration and model availability, optional agent updates, and Voice control switches.
Appearance and lock
Appearance offers System, Light and Dark. Reduce motion reduces animation; the operating system’s reduced-motion preference is always respected.
Lock uses the phone’s secure screen lock or biometrics. Choose when to lock again after leaving the app, or use Lock now. Unlocking the app does not approve work or take desktop control. See Phone app lock.
Notifications and speech
Notifications includes alert detail, Android category permissions and Alerts when the app is closed. Background alerts need Unrestricted battery use as well as notification permission. See Notifications.
Voice shows local speech readiness, Language preference and Keep audio on computer. A blank language preference allows automatic language selection. Retaining annotation audio is off by default. This setting is separate from Jev voice-control sessions, whose audio is not retained.
Export device data
The device-data section shows stored data and draft counts. Export device data saves a JSON export of supported local drafts and metadata, including Talk drafts, annotation text, marks, comments, steps and voice preferences.
The export does not include media bytes or access credentials and is not a complete backup of the phone, computer, tasks or projects. Preserve original images and files separately. Draft text and metadata can still be private; protect the export and inspect it before sharing.
Clear sent drafts asks for confirmation and removes only unchanged drafts already sent. Unsent, pending or subsequently edited drafts stay. It does not erase messages, task records or files held by the computer.
Versions and item links
Versions shows the app, companion and negotiated protocol versions, plus licence notices. Compatibility is not simply a matching version number; see Updating & rollback.
Open an item link accepts a link to a task, approval, attention item or accessible Library file. It does not bypass pairing or grants; see Item links.
