The main tabs are Talk, Control, Work and Library. Settings opens from a header’s settings button. Some views deliberately hide the tabs to give the conversation or computer screen more space.
Talk
An open task is a full-screen conversation. Check its title before sending. Work in the header takes you back to the work list; tapping the title opens the task selector.
The task-title menu contains New task, recent tasks, All tasks and Next up, Pictures and videos, Instructions and What happened in this task, where available. The current task’s Stop is in its header. The activity row opens other tasks and displays rather than keeping all their controls permanently on screen.
Message tools beside the text field opens markup, Agent, model and effort, Start from and How to send. The send button opens Review for new work. See Messages, feedback & results.
Work
Choose the project using its name in the header. Work has three sections:
- Needs you: questions, approvals and decisions. The first waiting item is outlined. Other projects with waiting items have shortcuts.
- Running: active tasks, anything holding work up and Next up.
- Results: a brief of what changed, unread results and earlier tasks.
When opened, Work initially selects the first useful section: waiting attention, then running or queued work, then results. The Project group holds All tasks, Live agents, Capture inbox, the project’s stage, GitHub and Project settings. See Work & task history.
Control
- Screens: choose a desktop target, watch it or take over. Apps and windows, System and Start computer use are here too.
- Terminals: open a shell on the selected computer.
- Previews: open project web previews.
The header microphone is Control by voice. Human desktop control and landscape viewing use a full-screen picture with floating controls. A private preview also opens edge-to-edge. See Desktop control and Voice control.
Library
Library opens on Agents, with Skills and Files alongside it. Tap an agent or skill to review a new task; its information button opens details. Scratch pad starts without added launcher instructions.
Choose Files for Agent files, folders on the computer, search, favourites, recent files, trash and transfers. Finding an instruction file does not prove an agent loaded it. See Launchers and Library.
Computer, connection and permissions
The selected computer and project determine where work happens. Switch or rename saved computers in Settings → Connections and devices → Paired computers. A rename is a local label, not a new computer identity.
A cached picture, result or file is not necessarily current. Read connection state and last-checked times before acting. A missing feature, a missing device grant and an offline computer need different remedies; see Troubleshooting.
